THE HARBOUR

Current Weather

Port Seton Harbour continues to be a vibrant working harbour – although on a greatly reduced scale to the boom years of the 1960s, 70s and 80s – and as a testament to Scotland’s enduring maritime traditions.

Port Seton Harbour Commissioners remain committed to ensuring that the Harbour thrives and endures and in supporting our fishing heritage through today’s challenging times, preserving not just an industry, but a way of life that has shaped our community for generations.

As well as a small fishing fleet, the Harbour is home to creel boats and leisure craft.

Throughout the changing seasons, Port Seton Harbour pulses with activity. Spring and summer bring an influx of visiting yachts and pleasure craft, while our year-round fishing fleet maintains the harbour’s working identity.

Visitors to Port Seton Harbour can experience the authentic atmosphere of a working Scottish port, where the comings and goings of fishing vessels create a constantly changing seascape. Whether it’s watching nets being mended, the day’s catch being landed, or simply enjoying the peaceful views towards Edinburgh and Fife, there’s always something to capture the imagination at our historic harbour.

 We regularly welcome:
